At the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, Altadis formally showcased the VegaFina Fortaleza 2. The VegaFina Fortleza 2 becomes the third major U.S. release under the VegaFina line joining the VegaFina Sumum 2010 and the VegaFina Jose Seijas 2011.
Like the Sumum 2010, the VegaFina Fortaleza 2 was a cigar blend that has been sold in the European market. The cigar is now being marketed in the United States.
The U.S. release of the cigar will feature four frontmarks. In the marketing brochure, Altadis describes he cigar as “medium to fuller bodied, yet balanced and smooth“
The cigar is expected to ship to U.S. retailers in late August.
The blend features a San Andres Criollo wrappers over Dominican binder and filler.

The VegaFina Fortaleza 2 will be sold in boxes of 20 – except for the Robusto Tubes which will come in boxes of 10.
