Kismet by Royal Gold Cigars

Royal Gold Cigars, the division of Swisher International that will focus on premium hand-made cigars will launch the Kismet.   This will be a cigar made by the Augusto Reyes at the CCE factory in the Dominican Republic.   It is expected that this cigar will be showcased at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas this July.  Initial details of this release appeared in the May 28th Cigar Insider.

The Kismet is one of two premium blends announced by Royal Gold Cigars.  When the division first launched, Royal Gold said that a regional focus would be around each of the lines. As mentioned the Kismet is being made in the Dominican Republic.  Another release by Royal Gold Cigars, the Casino Gold HRS is being made in the Honduras by the Plasencias. The company also has a mixed filler offering in Gold Strike being made in Nicaragua.

The name Kismet has arabic origins meaning fate or destiny.  It has also been used to refer to luck. The vitola names below reflect this meaning.

Swisher International is the largest manufacturer of cigars in the world, but the company’s focus had been on machine-made mass-produced cigars.  The launch of Royal Gold Cigars brings Swisher back into the Premium Cigar market.
