Kristoff Galerones Ceniza de Plata

Last month, we talked with Kristoff Cigars President Glen Case about his new line of cigars called “Galerones”.   The line consists of four distinct blends.  One of the lines, the Kristoff Galerones Ceniza de Plata is significant because it introduces a San Andres Mexican wrapper offering into Case’s portfolio.  This cigar, along with the entire Galerones line was showcased by Kristoff Cigars at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.

As we have been covering the Galerones line, this line will mark a major change for Kristoff Cigars.  The Galerones will feature a very different look from the existing Kristoff line in terms of its packaging (gloss painted boxes as opposed to “rough cut boxes)’. The Galerones will be made in the PDR Cigars factory – the first time Kristoff has worked with this factory.

The name “Ceniza de Plata” is Spanish for “Silver Ash”.  According to Kristoff, “when you smoke this cigar, you’ll know why it’s called ‘Ceniza de Plata'”.

Kristoff describes the Ceniza de Plata as  “an extremely rich medium-full bodied cigar with pronounced notes of spice, a hint of black pepper, sweet milk chocolate and a smooth coffee and cream finish.”

At a glance, let’s take a look at the Kristoff Galerones Ceniza de Plata:
