The White House’s Office of Management and Budget has made changes that significantly weaken the language that detailed Health Risks for Cigars.  This marks the second agency in less than a weak to express concerns over the proposed FDA regulations outlined in the Deeming Document.  There were no changes to the OMB made as to what the definition of a premium cigar is, where the controversial point as been the $10.00 minimum.  It is routine process for FDA proposals to be submitted to the OMB for approval, denial, or modification.

Stogie Geeks Episode Episode 100
This was our 100th episode of Stogie Geeks and we celebrated in style.  First Nestor Miranda, President of Miami Cigar and Company stopped up our studio for a visit and talked about his new Nestor Miranda Collection.  He discussed his plans to step down from the day to day operations, but plans on still being very visible in the cigar industry.

We were then joined by Clint Aaron of 262 Cigars.  Clint discussed all things 262 and talked about the new 262 Allegiance.  He broke news that the Allegiance Regular will become regular production, add a corona vitola to the line, and that the line will now be made in 20 count boxes.

We then went through our smokes of the week and reflected back on memories of the past 100 episodes.
