Bombay Tobak is adding five new vitolas to both its MBombay Mora and its MBombay Kesara lines. The five new sizes will feature packaging in cedar-lined cans. Plans are for the new vitolas to arrive at MBombay retailers in the next week.

The five new sizes will bring the total number of vitolas in both the MBombay Mora and MBombay Kesara lines to eight. The five new sizes being introduced are identical to both blends. These sizes include: No. 4 (5 1/10 x 44); 585 (5 x 58); No. 2 (6 x 52 – Torpedo); Salomon (6 x 58); and “A” (9 x 47). While the new sizes will feature the can packaging, the three previously released offerings will continue to be packaged in boxes.

The Mora and Kesara made their debut in late 2014.  The Mora consists of a Dominican Corojo wrapper,Peruvian Binder, and filler from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador.  The Kesara consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Deas Florado 2002 wrapper, an Ecuadorian Havana binder, and a combination of Dominican and Peruvian fillers.

Plans for new offshoots to the Mora and Kesara line do not end there. Bombay Tobak owner Mel Shah informed Cigar Coop the company has plans to release the MBombay Vintage Reserve. This is a line that uses tobaccos that have been aging longer than the traditional Mora and Kesara lines.  These cigars are also rolled by a solo rolling team. Two offerings are being offered in the Vintage Reserve line.  The Mora Petite Perfecto will be a 5 1/2 x 46 offering while the Kesara Nikka ia a 6 1/2 x 46 offering. Exact blend components to these offerings have not been disclosed. Shah said the Vintage Reserve offerings will not be available until after the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show.
