San_Cristobal_Ovation

Last year, Ashton Cigars introduced a limited edition cigar to its La Aroma de Cuba line.  This year the limited edition comes to its San Cristobal line. Later this Fall, the company will unveil the San Cristobal Ovation. The blend will feature a San Andres Oscuro wrapper, the first time one is being used on the San Cristobal line. The cigar is expected to be showcased at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show.

The San Cristobal Ovation is being produced in one size – a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. The cigars will be available in 22 count boxes. A total of 3,000 boxes / 66,000 cigars are being produced. As with all San Cristobal cigars, the Ovation is produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.

According to Ashton, the San Andres Oscuro wrapper goes through a 2 1/2 year double fermentation cycle.
