On a June 15th, 2016 La Gloria Cubana Society “Light and Learn” internet broadcast, Michael Giannini announced two new products, the La Gloria Cubana Serie R Esteli Maduro and the La Gloria Cubana Black Maduro. The cigars are scheduled to launch on July 1st, 2016.

The Serie R Esteli Maduro and Serie R Black Maduro will feature a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over the Nicaraguan tobaccos.

Both the Serie R Esteli and Serie R Black lines made their debut in 2013. The two lines were Nicaraguan puros introduced to the La Gloria Cubana brand. The Serie R Esteli has been positioned a brick and mortar exclusive while the Serie R Black has been positioned as an internet / catalog exclusive.
