|San Cristobal Elegancia|
The collaboration between Don Pepin Garcia and Ashton Cigars has proven to be a good one – especially with the release of the San Cristobal and La Aroma de Cuba lines. At IPCPR 2011, a new line extension to the San Cristobal brand was unveiled – the San Cristobal Elegancia.
The San Cristobal Elegancia is highlighted by an Connecticut seed Ecuadorian wrapper. No doubt the Ecuadorian/Connecticut Shade wrapper is something that has been a trend being showcased by the many manufacturers at IPCPR. Pepin seems to have an interest in this area as well – most notably he used a Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade on the 601 White.
My picture did not come out well with this one from the show, but the picture above was added when it hit the retailers. When I get a chance to sample this, I will have more details. Here is what I do know:
Wrapper: Connecticut seed Ecuadorian
Corona: 5 1/2 x 46
Robusto: 5 x 50
Imperial: 6 x 52
Pyramid: 6 1/4 x 52
Churchill: 7 x 50
