Royal Gold Cigars, the division of Swisher International that will focus on premium hand-made cigars will launch the Casino Gold HRS cigar.   This will be a cigar made by the Plasencia family in Honduras.  It is expected that this cigar will be showcased at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas this July.  Initial details of this release appeared in the May 28th Cigar Insider.

The Casino Gold HRS is one of two premium blends announced by Royal Gold Cigars.  When the division first launched, Royal Gold said that a regional focus would be around each of the lines. The Casino Gold HRS is being made in Honduras.  Another release by Royal Gold Cigars, the Kismet is being made in the Dominican Republic. The company also has a mixed filler offering in Gold Strike being made in Nicaragua.

Swisher International is the largest manufacturer of cigars in the world, but the company’s focus had been on machine-made mass-produced cigars.  The launch of Royal Gold Cigars brings Swisher back into the Premium Cigar market.  The division is headed up by long-time industry veteran Alex Goldman.
