Christian Eiroa is launching a new premium line of cigars with his name on it.  The EIROA is a new cigar line being introduced by Fabricas Unidas.  Information on this release was provided to Cigar Coop via a company press release.

The EIROA is one of the first cigars being produced at Eiroa’s new Aladino Factory in Danli, Honduras.  The cigar is targeted for a late June / early July, 2013 release

The name EIROA pays homage to Christian Eiroa’s family. In the press release, some background information was provided on this new launch:

It was in the summer of 1916 when Generoso Eiroa got first job as a boat captain for the Cuban Land and Leaf Tobacco Company that the Eiroa family began a tradition that would extend into it’s fourth generation. The EIROA cigar brand is homage to this heritage that has been 100 years in the making.

The cigar boxes and logo will carry the slogon “SALUD AMOR PESETAS” which translates to “HEALTH LOVE (AND) MONEY”.  This is a old Spanish saying in which the Gallegos felt was the key to happiness.  The Gallegos refer to Spaniards that lived in the autonomous region of Galicia in Northwest Spain.

The EIROA is also being launched with a new addition to the CLE line called CLE Plus.  In regards to these new blends Eiroa commented, “I am making the introduction of this new factory with two new blends that are representative of my passion for bold and full bodied cigars.  These two new Honduran puros deliver strength and flavor like nothing I have ever done before; I believe in them enough to name them after my family and me: The EIROA and the CLE Plus.“
