For the sixth consecutive year, Oliva Cigar Company will be releasing an maduro version of their popular Oliva Serie V cigar.  The maduro wrapper version is released once a year (usually at the end) and a single production run is done.  The cigar is typically released in one size toward the end of the calendar year..  For 2013, Oliva introduces a new size to this line – a double robusto measuring 5 x 54.  The cigar is expected to reach retailers in November.

The Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial 2013 will be packaged ten cigars per box with a total of 8,000 boxes produced.  The Serie V Maduro Especial will also use a San Andres wrapper – the fourth consecutive year this release will use that wrapper.   The blend is described as Nicaraguan grown Habano from Jalapa.  The price point will be $8.50.
