In the 2/8/14 edition of our Cigar Industry Report, we noted a teaser photo by My Father Cigars’ Janny Garcia on a cigar called La Antiguedad.   Information on this project has now surfaced as Cigar Aficionado.com has reported this will be a new line launched by My Father Cigars.

According to the report, the cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a double binder consisting of Nicaraguan Criollo and Nicaraguan Corojo.  The fillers are from farms in Las Quebradas, San Jose, and San Rafael.   Janny Garcia mentioned that all of the Nicaraguan tobaccos are grown on Garcia family owned farms.

The report also says, the cigars will be packaged in boxes of 20.  The cigar will be made available in five box-press shapes.  A release date has not been made available.
