Over the past couple of weeks, Viaje Cigars has posted pictures of the packaging of the Viaje Full Moon 2014.   This past week the company has said the cigar will be shipping to all of its authorized retailers as a part of its Halloween seasonal release.

The Viaje Full Moon 2014 cigar marks the second iteration of this cigar which was first released last year in a 5 x 58 format.  The cigar was a Nicaraguan puro and featured a Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper.  A single batch was released last October to coincide with the Halloween theme of the cigar.

In terms of the blend, Viaje President Andre Farkas noted on his Facebook page that it is the same blend but with a different vintage.  “Same blend guys. Just remember, due to the small batch nature of Viaje, like vintages, there might be variance from year to year.”

The packaging will feature the same rounded box and corresponding travel case.  The difference is that the packaging indicates that this is the 2014 release.  The actual 2014 version of the cigar itself has not been shown off as of yet.

The first Viaje Full Moon 2013 finished as the Cigar Coop #29 Cigar for 2013.  It scored as a box worthy, 93 back in November 2013.

Farkas had confirmed with Cigar Coop at IPCPR that he had planned to bring the Full Moon back for 2014.  The company also confirmed the Skull and Bones M?stery would also be returning and as a part of the Halloween Seasonal release.
