Two new line extensions are coming to the Aging Room Bin No. 1 line.  Boutique Blends’ President Rafael Nodal announced the company will be adding a box-pressed toro and a lancero into the Aging Room Bin No. 1 line.  The two line vitolas become the first two extensions since the Aging Room Bin No. 1 made its debut last year.

The box-pressed toro will be known as the Aging Room Bin No. 1 D Major.  It will measure at 6 x 54 and be packaged in an individual coffin box.  This will be the first box-pressed vitola in the line.

Aging Room Bin No. 1 Lancero is expected to be the first lancero offered by Boutique Blends under the Aging Room brand (the Swag. brand has released done so already).

According to Boutique Blends he name Bin No. 1 refers to an area of Tabacalera La Palma (who makes Boutique Blends Cigars) that contained aged tobaccos dating back to the 1997-1999 timeframe.  Recently this tobacco was made available to build a blend for Boutique Blends, thus the Aging Room Bin No. 1 was born. The blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over aged Cuban-seed Dominican tobaccos.  The cigar line finished as the Cigar Coop #16 Cigar of the Year for 2014.

The cigars are expected to be released later this year.   Last week, Boutique Blends announced it will be collaborating with Altadis USA on the Romeo by Romeo y Julieta Aging Room Small Batch F25.
