For the fourth consecutive year, La Flor Dominicana will be providing an exclusive cigar for the Tobacconist Association of America (TAA). However, for 2015, La Flor Dominicana has presented three options and are letting the TAA members decide via a vote. This vote will take place at the TAA’s 47th Convention taking place April 12 -16 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. The final cigar will be known as the La Flor Dominicana TAA 47.
Prior to the TAA convention, a three cigar sampler of “Contenders” was sent to TAA retailers – a 5 1/2 x 52 Toro, a 6 1/2 x 54 torpedo prensado (box-press), and a 6 x 60 Gordo. The three cigars each have an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler. The cigar receiving the most votes will be put into production.

In 2012, La Flor Dominicana released the La Flor Dominicana TAA Exclusive. This was followed up in 2013 by the La Flor Dominicana Double Press Maduro (TAA Edition). Last year the company released the La Flor Dominicana 2014 TAA Excluisive.
