Fratello Cigars’ limited edition release, The Boxer Series is now available.  Today, the company officially launched the release at W. Curtis Draper in Washington, DC and should be heading to retailers in the near future.

The Boxer Series adds four new vitolas using Fratello Boxer blend.  The Fratello Boxer was released in 2014 and was a box-pressed torpedo version of the original Fratello Cigars’ blend.  The blend consists of a Nicaraguan Habano Wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra Binder and Filler from Nicaragua and Peru. The blend was tweaked to satisfy the box-pressed format.

The Boxer Series is a five vitola release that includes the Fratello Boxer (6 1/4 x 52) along with the new vitolas: Boxeador (6 X 54), Boxero (5 1⁄2 X 50), Boxista (5 X 48), and Boxerito (4 3⁄4 X 40).

The five count sampler is packaged in a wooden box designed to be a cigar mold.  The suggester retail price is $45.00 for the sampler.

“I’m overwhelmed at the response we have gotten form our retailers nationwide. We are close to selling out since the moment we announced the release” said owner Omar de Frias.

There will be a total of 3,000 samplers available.
