Kristoff

Kristoff Cigars is planning on three releases prior to the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show. Jarrid Trudeau, Northeast Account Manager for Kristoff Cigars was a guest on Episode 177 of Stogie Geeks and provided information on three new cigars coming from Glen Case’s company.

The first cigar is the Kristoff Connecticut. As the name of the cigar indicates, the cigar will feature an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. Trudeau indicated the cigar not only uses the Kristoff Galerones DR4 wrapper, but it is also a reblended cigar. The Kristoff Connecticut will also back the “Kristoff Rough Cut” feel in terms of its packaging and banding as well.

Secondly, the company is planning on a Habano blend (final name still to be determined).  This is a cigar that will use the Brazilian Habano Cubra wrapper. Trudeau described this as a medium cigar that has some sharp spice.

The third cigar is one known as “Pistoff Kristoff”.  According to Trudeau, the origins of the name of this cigar came from a customer to who suggested the name to Kristoff Cigars owner Glen Case. Following that suggestion, it was a name Case could not get out of his head.  In terms of the cigar itself, Pistoff Kristoff is meant to provide a powerhouse offering in terms of strength. The cigar features a San Andres Natural wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and an all Nicaraguan.  The cigar will be offered in ten count boxes in four sizes – Robusto, Churchill, Gordo, and a 5 3/4 x 48 Corona Gorda size.
