The Partagas 160 Signature Series, a cigar originally released by General Cigar Company to commemorate 160 years of the Partagas brand will be making a comeback. At the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, General Cigar announced it was releases a limited number of what it has remaining of the Partagas 160.

Back in 1996, General Cigar launched the Partagas 150. The cigar featured a vintage Cameroon wrapper from a 1977 crop. At the time, General Cigar set aside a limited quantity of smaller and medium sized Cameroon wrapper leaves from that 1977 crop. For ten years, the wrapper that was set aside underwent additional fermentation. Finally, in 2006, it was used on the Partagas 160 Signature Series.

In addition to the aged 1977 Cameroon wrapper, the cigar features a Mexican San Andres binder and a filler of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican San Andres tobaccos.

While the Partagas 160 Signature Series was originally made available in five sizes, only two of the sizes: Robusto Minor (4 x 48, SRP $18.99) and Robusto Major (5 x 52, SRP $22.99). Each of the two sizes are available in 25 count boxes.
