At the 2017 Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) Convention in Cabo San Lucas, Alec Bradley Cigars unveiled, the Alec Bradley Black Market Illciit – a new exclusive cigar for TAA retailers.

While the Illicit is branded under Alec Bradley’s Black Market line, it is a different blend. The Illicit features a Nicaraguan wrapper, Honduran and Nicaraguan binders, and fillers described from “small yield farms” in Nicaragua. Illicit will be offered in one size – a 6 x 50 Toro. The cigars will be packaged in 22 count boxes.

“This is the first exclusive series cigar Alec Bradley has developed for TAA retailers since we introduced the Prensado Figurado in 2013,” said Alan Rubin, owner of Alec Bradley Cigar Company in a press release. “We like to describe this iteration of our number one-selling cigar as Black Market ‘on steroids.’ True to its name, Black Market Illicit embodies the characteristics that have earned its namesake consistent ratings of 90 among cigar enthusiasts around the world. This iteration was specially designed to cater to TAA’s exclusive network of retailers.”

Pricing for the Black Market Illicit is set at $8.75.

The Black Market Illicit is also planned to be an on-going exclusive release for its members.  It’s a cigar expected to arrive at the member retailers this July.
