Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2017

This year, My Father Cigars reaches back into the past and is re-releasing one of their all-time classic cigars. The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition makes a return – bringing back the original blend from 2011. The cigars are slated to hit retailers this month.

The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2017 features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The cigar also features a Nicaraguan binder and filler, however it also incorporates Pelo de Oro tobacco into the blend. Pelo de Oro has been a staple of the special My Father limited edition cigars. The cigar is a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. The cigar pretty much mirrors the original 2011 edition.

When it was first released in 2011, the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition was packaged in 16 count boxes, but only 15 Broadleaf cigars were included. The sixteenth cigar was a Connecticut Shade version meant to be a preview of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2012 Edition. When the 2012 Edition was released, it included 15 Connecticut Shade and one of the Broadleaf. That would be the last appearance for the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition with the Broadleaf (i.e. that 2011 edition) until now.

Total production of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2017 is set for 3,000 boxes.
