Earlier this year, Gurkha Cigars announced it was releasing a cigar at the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show to commemorate ten years of the Gurkha Cellar Reserve line. Today some details around that cigar, the Gurkha 10th Anniversary 15 Year Cellar Reserve, were unveiled.

The Gurkha 15 Year Cellar Reserve first made its debut in 2007, the cigar was re-launched in 2011. Since then there have been several other blends released on the line including the Gurkha Cellar Reserve LimitadaGurkha Cellar Reserve Edicion EspecialGurkha Cellar Reserve Platinum Edition, and Gurkha Cellar Reserve 21 Year.

The 10th Anniversary 15 Year Cellar Reserve features an Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and “vintage” Nicaraguan fillers.

Gurkha 10th Anniversary 15 Year Cellar Reserve

The 10th Anniversary 15 Year Cellar Reserve cigars will be packaged in a limited edition humidor box. Each humidor will hold 50 cigars. There are a total of 1,000 humidors being produced. Each humidor box will retail for $700.00. Individual cigars will be priced at $14.00.

As for the vitola, the company has only announced it would be a “Special Vitola”.

The 10th Anniversary 15 Year Cellar Reserve cigars is expected to ship to retailers at the end of August.
