At the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show, L’Atelier Imports unveiled its first new blend in the Surrogates line in three years with the 7th Sam. The 7th Sam introduces the first perfecto offering as well as the first Sumatra offering into the Surrogates brand.

The 7th Sam gets its name from the fact that it uses seven different tobaccos in the blend. It also happens to be the 7th distinct blend in the Surrogates line. In addition the Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, 7th Sam uses a double binder of two Nicaraguan tobaccos and a filler consisting of Connecticut Broadleaf, Mexican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Nicaraguan tobaccos are all grown on the Garcia family farms and include: include Criollo ’98, Corojo ’99, Habano and Sancti Spiritus. It is available in one size – a 6 3/4 x 48/62 perfecto. It is packaged in 20-count boxes and priced at $11.00.

The Surrogates 7th Sam is currently en-route to retailers.
