At the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show, Patoro Cigars showcased its Patoro Vintage Cigar, offering it to the U.S. market for the first time.

Patoro Vintage is an all-Dominican puro featuring a 10-year-old Dominican wrapper. The line has already been sold in Switzerland, but now a limited supply of 100 boxes of the Robusto size is being offered the U.S. market. Patoro said these cigars are being reserved for its customers currently carrying its core lines: Patoro Serie P, Patoro Gran Añejo Reserva, and the Patoro Brasil.

The Swiss market offers four other sizes.

Patoro Cigars was founded by Patrick Martin. Two years ago, Dr. Pablo Schneider, the grandson of Dr. Ernst Schneider (best known for his involvement with Oettinger’s acquisition of Davidoff) joined the company to help with the U.S. venture. The company produces its cigars in the Dominican Republic at the De Los Reyes factory and the brand is distributed in the U.S. by CLE Cigar Company.
