Today Davidoff of Geneva has announced that Dylan Austin will become the company’s new Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the USA. Austin currently serves and will continue to serve as Vice President of Marketing for several brands in the portfolio, while taking on the responsibility of overseeing the company’s sales organization.

Austin has been in the cigar industry since 2005. In 2008, he came over to Davidoff following the company’s acquisition of Camacho Cigars. During this time he oversaw the revamping of the Camacho brand in 2013. He also added marketing responsibilities involving brands such as AVO, Baccarat, Cusano, The Griffin’s, and Zino Platinum. Austin will continue to oversee the marketing efforts of those brands.

As for the marketing of the Davidoff named brands, S.T. Dupont and Davidoff of Geneva Since 1911 retail stores, those responsibilities will continue to be handled by Richard Krutick. Both Krutick and Austin will report to Jim Young, President of Davidoff North America.

The move comes as the company has also announced that its current Vice President of Sales, Jeffrey Lee is retiring after 22 years.
