An electrical fire has struck the Las Vegas Convention Center early this morning. This has resulted in a three-hour delay of the start time of Day 2 (7/15/18) of the IPCPR Convention Center.

There have been multiple unconfirmed reports indicate the electrical fire started at the AJ Fernandez booth.

IPCPR reported the following companies were affected include:

AJ Fernandez
Al Capone
Arango
Bags of Bags
Drew Estate
Costello Pipe
Benchmade
Nat Sherman
Rocky Patel
La Palina
Cigar Oasis
Tommy Bahama
Rabbit Air
Perdomo

Cigar Coop has heard most of the problems have been due to water discharged from the sprinkler system.

The IPCPR Trade Show normally opens for business at 10am. The three-hour delay resulted in a 1pm start time for Day 2 of the Trade Show. The close time was extended to 7pm resulting in one less hour of business for the trade show. Trade Show hours for July 16 have been extended by one hour running from 10am to 6pm.

Numerous exhibitors and companies have been rescheduling trade show appointments and after-hours events.
