At the 2018 IPCPR Trade Show, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars will introduce a third blend by Hamlet Paredes, the Hamlet Liberation. It’s a cigar that pays homage to Paredes, a renowned master roller who joined Rocky Patel from Cuba three years ago.

The Hamlet Liberation features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers. It is being released in one size – a 6 1/2 x 55 Figurado featuring one-inch rough cut shaggy footer and a tapered head. It will be packaged in ten-count boxes and each cigar is priced at $11.10.

“At all my events, I roll all my cigars free hand,” explained Paredes in a press release. “No molds. So for this new brand, I wanted to create something different, something liberating. Naturally, we decided to call it Liberation. ”

“The shaggy foot is meant to be smoked,” added Paredes. “It provides a nice introduction to the cigar, then everything changes when you reach the wrapper.”

The Hamlet Liberation joins Tabaquero by Hamlet Paredes and Hamlet 25th Year under Rocky Patel Premium Cigars’ Hamlet brand. The cigars are expected to ship in October.

Paredes joined Rocky Patel Premium Cigars in 2015 and moved to the United States after a long career working at Cuba’s famed Partagas factory.
