At the 2018 IPCPR Trade Show, Espinosa Cigars showcased the 601 La Bomba Warhead IV. As the name indicates, it is the fourth installment of the Espinosa’s Warhead series.

The Warhead is an offshoot of the 601 La Bomba line – Espinosa’s line of powerful Nicaraguan puros. For the Warhead, Espinosa Cigars introduced a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro based off the original La Bomba blend in a box-pressed format. Each installment of the Warhead has been a different limited production vitola where the Broadleaf blend is optimized to the vitola size.

With Warhead IV, it uses a 6 x 48 Short Churchill format, a size that has been popular in the Espinosa Cigars portfolio.

In 2016, Espinosa Cigars did a limited release of Warhead IV and a subsequent release Warhead V into commerce.

At a glance, here is a look at the 601 La Bomba Warhead line.
