At the 2018 IPCPR Trade Show, General Cigar Company introduced a third blend to its value-priced Odyssey line. This one is a maduro version appropriately called Odyssey Maduro.

The Odyssey Maduro consists of a dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler. The cigars are available in five sizes (Corona, Robusto, Toro, Churchill, Gigante) – pricing ranges from $1.69 to $2.59 per cigar. The cigars are sold in 20-count bundles. The cigars are produced at the Plasencia Cigars SA factory in Nicaragua.

Odyssey made its debut at the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show. It was released in two blends – Odyssey Habano an Odyssey Connecticut.

In a press release Jen Moody, brand manager for Odyssey said, “Given its accessible price point, Odyssey Maduro is a no-brainer for the tenured cigar smoker who’s looking to change up his or her smoking repertoire with something new. Odyssey is one of the best cigar values on the market today and we’re sure that the new Maduro version will be a fast selling addition to the line.”
