At the 2019 IPCPR Trade Show, RoMa Craft Tobac unveiled a new line extension to the Neanderthal line known as the Neanderthal LH. Neanderthal is the company’s strongest line.

Produced at the Nica Sueno factory, the cigar itself is a 4 3/4 x 56 box-pressed offering. It features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro and a combination of Pennsylvania, Nicaraguan, and Dominican tobaccos. The Neanderthal gets its strength from the Pennsylvania Double Ligero in the blend known as Green River Valley Sucker One (GR-S1).

With the Neanderthal LH, the blend contains a whole leaf of the GR-S1 tobacco – which is nearly two to three times the amount found in the original Neanderthal HN line.

The company says this will be an ongoing limited production offering.
