One of the busiest booths at the IPCPR Trade Show year after year is the Perdomo booth. Even with the reduced foot traffic on the Trade Show floor, the Perdomo booth was bustling with activity in the final hours of this year’s IPCPR. Every year, Perdomo is a company that does an excellent job at exhibiting its products, and 2019 was no exception. It’s been about three years since Perdomo has had a major release. Perdomo is a company with a huge portfolio of FDA predicate blends and has felt the pressure to bring something new to market for the sake of bringing something new. This year the company brought back one of its brands from its rich history, and gave a packaging upgrade to another.

It also was Nick Perdomo III’s first Trade Show as Perdomo Cigars’ new National Director of Sales.

2019 saw the return of the Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage. The cigar is described as one of Perdomo’s most premium cigars to date. The cigar utilizes tobacco from Finca Natalie, a farm owned by the Perdomo family and named for company President Nick Perdomo’s daughter Natalie. The tobaccos used in the ESV are from the top 3% of the crop, and are also from the first crop to come out of that farm. It returns in three blends – Ecuadorian Connecticut, Sun-Grown, and Maduro. The twist is that it returns as a box-pressed offering. I had an opportunity to sample the Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage Sun-Grown and it’s a cigar worthy of being among the elite cigars unveiled at this year’s IPCPR.

Over the years, Perdomo has also been upgrading its packaging. These upgrades have raised the bar on cigar packaging as a whole. This year it was Perdomo Lot 23’s turn.

Finally, a visit to the Perdomo booth would not be complete without company President Nick Perdomo’s drum set. Each year he treats attendees to his musical talents as a drummer.

We are proud to announce that Nick Perdomo will be a special guest on the Prime Time Show on September 5th in a special episode broadcast from Perdomo World Headquarters in Miami, Florida.
