The Alec Bradley Nico Puro Diamond Rough-Cut, a seasonal limited edition release is en route to retailers. The company has announced it is shipping 1,500 boxes of the release and has sold out the 2019 inventory.

The Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut is denoted by its diamond-shaped 6 1/4 x 54 vitola. It was first released in 2014 and has become a limited production autumn release. According to Alec Bradley, it was a concept that originated at Plasencia Cigars to pay homage to the famed triangular-shaped Alec Bradley Trilogy.

The blend itself is an off-shoot of the Alec Bradley Nica Puro, a cigar consisting of all Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut differs from the core Nica Puro line in that it uses an extra leaf of ligero.

“The Nica Puro blend is smoking incredibly right now,” said Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley Cigar Co in a press release. “Enthusiasts and tobacconists ask for the Nica Puro Diamond all year round, but the cigars aren’t easy to make. Due to the unique shape we only have the ability to produce 1500 boxes per run, so it’s an exciting time at Alec Bradley when we have the opportunity to present Diamonds to our fans.”

The Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut is presented in 16-count boxes with each cigar priced at $9.38 before taxes.

“The blend represents my take on a Nicaraguan puro,” Alan added. “Nica Puro, in general, and the Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut are must tries for Nicaraguan cigar lovers!”
