For third year in a row, General Cigar Company will release an exclusive cigar for the Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) Exclusive Series. Once again the blend will come from the CAO brand. The release is called the CAO Expedición and it will hit TAA retailers this May.

Produced in Honduras, the CAO Expedición features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Connecticut shade binder and filler from Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. The cigar comes in one size -a 6 1/8 x 52 Toro. The cigars are presented in 10-count boxes. A total of 1,200 boxes have been produced. Priding is set at $9.50 per cigar.

The cigar comes in only one size, a dark Toro that measures 6 1/8 inches by 52 ring gauge. The blend consists of an oscuro Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Connecticut shade binder and filler from Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. The cigar will have a retail price of $9.50 before taxes and will come in boxes of 10.

The CAO Expedición joins the CAO Estelí (2018) and CAO Brazilia Select (2019) as previous TAA Exclusive releases.

Typically The TAA Exclusive Cigars are unveiled at the organization’s annual convention and trade show. Since this year’s trade show was canceled due to COVID-19 social distancing, this year’s TAA Exclusive Series was unveiled at a virtual meeting held to TAA members on March 25th, 2020.
