Davidoff of Geneva has announced its production innovation plan for 2020 will be delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Specifically, this will delay the launch of products that had been already announced for the Camacho and AVO brands earlier this year. In addition, like many companies, Davidoff is planning a series of virtual events through social media channels to continue to engage its customers.

Back in February, Davidoff had announced plans to launch the AVO Cigars  North-South Regional Editions, the return of the AVO Classic Maduro, Camacho Nicaragua and the Camacho Liberty 2020.

The virtual events kick off on Sunday, April 5th, with the #ChangeTheTempo lounge featuring DJ Tony Touch. In subsequent weeks, the series will continue with similar programming and other DJs. On Tuesday, April 7th, Davidoff will hold its first online cigar seminar featuring brand ambassadors Klaas Kelner and Jeff Stone. Davidoff of Geneva said other virtual events are in the works.
