Coming in at #30 is the La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2007 Corona Gorda. In 2019, La Aurora introduced a second installment under its La Aurora 107 Cosecha line with the La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2007 Corona Gorda. It’s a cigar that incorporates tobaccos from a 2007 vintage crop. The Cosecha 2007 follows up the La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2006, which incorporated tobacco from a 2006 vintage crop. The Cosecha 2006 went on to capture the #2 Cigar of the Year on the 2017 Cigar Coop Countdown and a spot on The Decade List. The Cosecha 2007 once again lands La Aurora on the countdown.

The blend of the Cosecha 2007 is completely different than the Cosecha 2006. It features an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Brazilian binder and a filler consisting of Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. It’s the 6 x 47 Corona Gorda size that lands on the 2020 Countdown – a size that La Aurora excels in. Production is handled out of the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic.

During the smoking experience, the La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2007 Corona Gorda delivered natural tobacco, earth, cedar, pepper, and savory notes. It’s a medium-bodied smoke countered by medium strength.
