Southern Draw Cigars announced it will not increase its wholesale/retail pricing on its products this year. The company did announce it is planning a small 1% shipping increase, bringing its shipping rates to 4%. The new shipping rate takes effect February 1, 2021.

“The planned price adjustments are for shipping ONLY and are in response to increased transportation and shipping expenses levied for air cargo, UPS, and USPS services due to the coronavirus pandemic and respective average annual price increases,” commented Southern Draw Cigars in a press release.

The company also stated, “As the valued retail partners continue to respond and plan for the recovery from the challenges of the pandemic, the Southern Draw family does not believe it is an appropriate time to implement the planned annual price increase for its cigar lines. In lieu of the planned price increase and any subsequent specials or discounts that were been planned for 2021, Southern Draw has determined this to be our best course of action, allowing retail partners the greatest ease in supporting the brand and their customers without the higher prices.”
