On the eve of the 2021 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Alec Bradley Cigar Company announced production of the Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper would be moving from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic to Nestor Plasencia’s Tabacos de Oriente factory in Danlí, Honduras.

The change was made due to the production demands that have been on the Tabacalera La Alianza factory. Tabacos de Oriente is a factory that Alec Bradley has a relationship with. While the factory is switching, Alec Bradley says Perez-Carrillo will still be involved.

Gatekeeper was the sophomore project by Alec Bradley owner’s sons Alec and Bradley Rubin. The company says the blend and sizes will remain exactly the same.
