It’s been nine years since Oliva Cigar Company introduced the Oliva Serie V Melanio. Throughout the nine years, it has been a staple in Oliva’s portfolio. At the same time, the Serie V has never had a traditional Toro size – until this year.

The Oliva Serie V Melanio Toro is a 6 x 52 vitola. It features the same blend as the rest of the line – an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over all-Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigar is presented in ten-count boxes.

Melanio gets its name from Oliva family patriarch Melanio Oliva. Melanio Oliva was a tobacco grower in 19th century Cuba. He is believed to be the first Oliva family member to grow tobacco.
