For the second year in a row at the Tobacco Plus Expo, Altadis USA will showcase a luxury humidor package. This year, the humidor comes from the Romeo y Julieta brand, and it is called Bed of Roses.

“The Romeo y Julieta Bed of Roses Humidor is a romantic reminder of the bed of roses that falls from the iconic Verona balcony where our ingenue Julieta once shared secret moments with her Romeo,” said Gabrielle Winchester, Senior Brand Manager, Altadis USA in a press release.

The humidor features 24 50 x 7 1/2 Churchill-sized cigars produced by the Plasencias in Estelí, Nicaragua. The cigars feature 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos highlighted by Habano wrapper. A total of 100 of the Bed of Roses humidors will be available.

The humidor itself is 20 inches high, by 12 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. The unit features a cherry-red piano finish coating with cedar lined trays. Pricing for the humidor (including the cigars) is set at $2,000.00.

“These special hand-made cigars are rich, sweet, complex and elegantly blended using some of the most unique tobaccos from the Plasencia farms,” said Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA. The humidor and cigars will be unveiled at the Tobacco Plus Expo at the end of the month and shipped to retailers in March.

At TPE 21, Altadis USA showcased the Montecristo B.R.M. humidor offering.
