Viaje WLP Stuffed Turkey – 2011 release

Viaje Cigars announced on facebook today that its second Thanksgiving seasonal release of the Viaje WLP (White Label Project) Stuffed Turkey has been delayed until Christmas.

The Facebook post said:

UPDATE – Due to a shipping delay, WLP Stuffed
Turkey will be released for Christmas this year opposed to Thanksgiving
as originally planned.

Last year was the first release of the Viaje WLP Stuffed Turkey.  It was released prior to Thanksgiving.   The White Label Project (WLP) is a line of cigars that are considered somewhat
experimental to varying degrees.  Last year’s WLP Stuffed Turkey featured was a Nicaraguan puro featuring a Criollo wrapper.  The vitola was a 5 x 60.

When we interviewed Farkas at the 2012 IPCPR Trade Show, he indicated that this year’s WLP Stuffed Turkey would feature two blends:  “White Meat” (a natural) and “Dark Meat” (a maduro).   There was no indication whether these plans have changed or not at this time.
