Rocky Patel Decade Edicion Limitada (2012) – The company announced the cigar is returning for 2013 |
Rocky Patel Premium Cigars announced today that the Rocky Patel Decade Edicion Limitada has returned for a fourth consecutive year. The announcement appeared on the company’s facebook page.
The Rocky Patel Decade Edicion Limitada is a modified version of the company’s popular Rocky Patel Decade. The Decade Edicion Limitada features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper as opposed to the Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper found on the core Decade line. Since 2010, the company has done a small batch release once per year.
No details of the blend were disclosed, but for the previous three years the blend was a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. While sizes also were not announced, the sizes in the previous three years were also: Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Toro (6 by 52), and Torpedo (6 1/4 x 52).
The 2012 version of the Decade Edicion Limitada scored a 91 on Cigar Coop.
