Kristoff Galerones Intensivo

The Kristoff Galerones Intensivo is one of four distinct blends in a new line of cigars called Galerones.  Last month, we talked with Kristoff Cigars President Glen Case about this line.   The Intensivo strikes new ground for Kristoff as it is the company’s first box-pressed cigar.  This cigar along with the entire Galerones line was showcased by Kristoff Cigars at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.

As we have been covering the Galerones line, this marks a major change for Kristoff Cigars.  The Galerones features a very different look from the existing Kristoff line in terms of its packaging (gloss painted boxes as opposed to “rough cut boxes)’. The Galerones will be made in the PDR Cigars factory – the first time Kristoff has worked with this factory.

Kristoff describes this as their fullest-bodied cigar.  They claim it will not overpower you with strength, but in terms of flavor and complexity it will deliver an “intense” experience.  The company describes the flavor profile of the Intensivo as “big notes of spice, dark chocolate covered caramel, rich espresso, and decadent hazel nuts sprinkled with sea salt.”

At a glance, let’s take a look at the Kristoff Galerones Intensivo:
