Back in November, Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson was a guest on our Stogie Geeks show and mentioned a retail-exclusive project being done for Knoxville Tennessee’s Silo Cigars called the Tatuaje Gran Maravilla.  Silo Cigars has now announced the cigars will be available on May 19th.

In the interview, Johnson described the cigar as an “redux, but a longer version of the original one” – referring to a retail exclusive corona gorda known as the Tatuaje Maravilla that was done for Leaf and Ale in Knoxville.  That cigar was a Nicaraguan puro featuring a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper measuring 5 5/8 x 46.  The Gran Maravilla will come in longer  at 6 1/8 x 46.

Silo Cigars has said the Gran Maravilla will be distributed in either 25 count boxes (200 boxes total)  or 50 count cabinets (20 total).  The total production total is 6,000 boxes.
While the cigar will be released on May 19th, Johnson will be at Silo Cigars for an in-store launch on May 22th.
