Boutique Blends has resurrected an old brand in its portfolio. The company has announced that the Black Knight brand is returning. The new Black Knight features an all new blend and will be an exclusive to JR Cigar and its distribution arm, Santa Clara Cigars.
The original Black Knight was a part of the King Havano line and was launched back in 2009 when Boutique Blends was known as Oliveros Cigars. The King Havano Black Knight was a Nicaraguan puro that was positioned a bolder cigar featuring all-ligero tobaccos in the blend. The cigar was available in two box pressed sizes.
The new Black Knight takes a completely different spin from the previous edition. This cigar is positioned as more medium, creamy smoke. The cigar is marketed under its own brand as opposed to the King Havano line. The cigar features a five year old Sumatra wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler. The cigar is available in three sizes.
Boutique Blends also made Ether as an exclusive to JR Cigar and Santa Clara.
