Oveja Negra Brands has announced it is shipping new offerings under its Emilio brand, the Emilio Suave Maduro and the limited edition Emilio Audiophile. Both cigars made their debut at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show. The blends and artwork were created by Emilio Cigars co-owner James Brown.
The Emilio Suave Maduro features an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It will be available in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50, SRP $10.00), Toro (6 x 50, SRP $10.50), and Churchill (7 x 48, SRP $10.50) – each packaged in 20-count boxes.
The Emilio Audiophile uses Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It will be offered in a Robusto (5 x 52) size. It is intended to be more amped up than many of the current Emilio offerings. The cigar is presented in 20-count boxes and pricing is set at $10.50 SRP.
“Audiophile is the next step in the evolution of Emilio Cigars. This cigar is bold, earthy and spice-forward. It is definitely a step up in terms of strength from the rest of the portfolio. I’m very excited about this new, unique addition to the line. As for Suave, with the success of the Connecticut Suave over the years, we felt it was time to expand the line and add a Maduro version. The Maduro Suave is medium bodied, medium strength and full of both flavor and complexity,” commented James Brown in a press release.
Production for both the Emilio Suave Maduro and Emilio Audiophile come from Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua.
