Crowned Heads has announced its limited edition offering for 2023 under its Le Carême. It’s a rounded 4 x 54 Short Robusto known as the Le Carême Pastelitos LE 2023.

Crowned Heads is known for its limited edition line extensions under its existing brands. Since 2018, Crowned Heads has released a limited offering under Le Carême in the form of a Belicosos Fino nearly every year. This time Crowned Heads opted for a Short Robusto.

Keeping to the theme of the Le Carême, Pastelitos is the name of a small, sweet pastry puff.

Past Short Robusto offerings by Crowned Heads include: included La Imperiosa Minutos, Jericho Hill Shots, and Juárez Shots.

“Since 2016, we’ve had a history of releasing limited edition short-format cigars for the cold weather months when a quick but satisfying smoke is necessary,” commented Crowned Heads co-owner/founder, Jon Huber in a press release. “Le Carême Pastelitos is the latest in this line of limitadas, and they’re as rich and tasty as the pastries they take their name from.”

Le Carême Pastelitos is the same blend as the regular production Le Carême line. Unlike the regular production line of Le Carême which is box-pressed, Pastelitos is a rounded parejo. Pastelitos uses the same blend components as the regular production line including a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. Production is handled at Crowned Heads long-time manufacturing partner Tabacalera La Alianza under the supervision of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.

There is a total production of 1,250 24-count boxes (30,000 cigars). Pricing for the Le Carême Belicosos Finos is set at $12.95 MSRP.
