For the third year in a row, C.L.E. Cigar Company has a PCA Exclusive. This year, the company is releasing a Connecticut Shade Cigar that also contains tobacco from the company’s new farm in South America.
For the C.L.E. PCA Exclusive 2023, Christian Eiroa wanted to take on the challenge of creating a premium Connecticut Shade blend. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper and the binder and filler come from the company’s South America farm, but the company isn’t divulging any specifics.
“I wanted to create a premium Connecticut cigar like no other. We have been secretly cultivating tobacco in South America and this will be the first blend that contains tobacco from this farm,” commented Christian Eiroa in a press release.
The cigars are offered in four sizes: 50 x 5 (SRP $17.00), 11/18 (SRP $18.00), 52 x 6 (SRP $18.00), and 60 x 6 (SRP $19.00). Each is presented in 20-count boxes. A total of 3,000 cigars (150 boxes) per vitola have been produced. As in previous years, the top of the box doubles as an ashtray.
The PCA Trade Show opens July 7, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
