At the Total Product Expo (TPE) 2024, Crowned Heads will introduce another line under its Mil Días line, the Míl Dias Maduro.
The Mil Días Maduro introduces a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped offering under the Mil Días brand. The Mil Días Maduro production comes from Eradio Pichardo’s TacaNica factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. TacaNicsa also handles production for the current Mil Días offerings. In addition to the Broadleaf wrapper, the Mil Días Maduro features a Habano binder and all Nicaraguan fillers. The line is offered in three sizes: Edmundo (5 3/8 x 52), Sublime (6x 54), and Topes (4 7/8 x 56). Each size is presented in 20-count boxes. Pricing for the Mil Días line ranges from $10.95 to $12.50 per size.
“Mil Dias Maduro is an extension to the original Mil Dias brand that we announced back in July of 2020,” explained Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber in a press release. What’s important to note, however, is that the Maduro blend is not simply a re-tread of the original blend where we just swapped the wrapper leaf out. Mil Dias Maduro is an all-new blend from the outside to the inside that we felt was worthy of bearing the Mil Días brand name. We began working on the Mil Dias Maduro blend with Eradio Pichardo in the summer of 2023. The result is a cigar with a flavor profile that is dense and lush, layered with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices, with excellent structure and a pepper component that is most noticeable on the retro-hale.”
TPE 2024 opens in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 31, 2024.
