Allison Trainer and Hooten Young have parted ways. In an email to Cigar Coop, Trainer confirmed the move and says she will focus on growing her cigar consulting business Abbondanza.

Trainer joined Hooten Young back in April 2023 as Vice President of Sales for its tobacco business. Hooten Young is a veteran-owned American Whiskey and Cigar Company owned by Norm Hooten and Tim Young. The company created its whiskey and cigars as a tribute to those who served in the Armed Forces. Prior to joining Hooten Young, Trainer was a Brand Manager for Vintage Rock-A-Feller Cigar Group. Before that, she held roles on the retail side of the business.

Trainer says she is excited to engage with her new partnerships, guiding their trajectory upward and helping to grow the number of passionate women within the industry.
