Online cigar community New England Cigar Militia has announced its latest cigar, the “76.” This is the group’s second release in collaboration with Vintage Rock-A-Feller Cigar Group, following 2023’s Cigar Militia Cigar Reserve No. 1.
The blend of the 76 is the same as the Reserve No. 1 blend. It features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over an undisclosed binder and all Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is produced at American Caribbean Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua – a key manufacturing partner with Vintage Rock-A-Feller Cigar Group. The 76 comes in one size – a 6 x 52 box-pressed vitola with a price point of $12.00 SRP/cigar. The 76 comes in five packs, and there is a total production of 1,776 cigars.
In a press release, Kevin “Commish” Parow, the founder of the New England Cigar Militia, said, “I will continue producing small-batch cigars to consistently deliver high-quality products that the community and others will enjoy.”
This cigar holds significant historical value, paying tribute to the Bennington flag and symbolizing the 13 American colonies that sought independence from Great Britain. It features a prominent “76” in the canton, reminiscent of the year of the Declaration of Independence.
Distribution for the 76 will be at five stores:
- Federal Cigar (Dover, NH)
- Federal Cigar (Portsmouth, NH
- Federal Cigar (Epping, NH)
- Grumpy’s Cigar and Lounge (Hudson, NH)
- The Cigar Militia (Columbia, SC)
New England Cigar Militia said Federal Cigar will have the launch party. This will be followed by in-store releases at the other shops. The Cigar Militia store in Columbia, South Carolina, shares the same name as the group.
