Ceniza Fina Cigars has added a fourth vitola to its eponymous Ceniza Fina line in the form of a box-pressed 5 1/2 x 56 Robusto Gordo.
The blend for Ceniza Fina Box-Pressed Robusto Gordo is consistent with the rest of the line. The blend consists of a Corojo wrapper over a Mexican binder and a combination of Piloto Cubano, Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Jalapa, and Havana Vuelta Abajo (HVA). Like the existing sizes in the line, ithe Ceniza Fina Box-Pressed Robusto Gordo comes in 20-count boxes. The initial production is 300 boxes totaling 6,000 cigars. Pricing comes in at $12.50 SRP/cigar. The cigar is produced at Hostos Quesada’s Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic. Distribution is handled by Pospiech Cigars.
Ceniza Fina has also raised prices on its three existing vitolas. Each of the three existing sizes had had its MSRP increased by 50 cents per cigar.
